50 YEARS OF NORTHERN EUROPEAN EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE
Learn from each other – discover with each other
At the beginning of each year meet for 50 years now, people in helping professions from the countries around the Baltic Sea to a Northern European Psychotherapists and pastoral counselors, doctors and pastoral psychologists, politically and socially committed counselors from various schools, deaconesses and social workers maintain an open and personal dialogue.
Specialized lectures provide an opportunity to discuss current social phenomena or to implement new findings from research. Working groups such as Gestalt therapy, bibliodrama, dance and movement, symbol drama and body therapy ensure continuous space for personal topics. Thematic conference languages are English and German with simultaneous translation during the lectures.
The main elements of the conference are the liturgically arranged meditations (devotions) and the Epiphany service.
The special feature of the conference, however, is the atmosphere, which is characterized by high empathy and appreciation, joie de vivre and enjoyment. This happens especially in the interstices and at the evening casual get-together with dance and performance.
The conference closed with a culinary and convivial festive evening, and people were already looking forward to next year during the blessing of the journey.
The fine ambience of the Academy Sankelmark near Flensburg offers the framework in which exchange and recreation, relief and further education are equally considered.
