REGISTRATION FOR EVENTS

The data requested when registering for an event is used to carry out pre-contractual measures and to fulfil the contract. A distinction is made between data that must be provided (marked with an asterisk) and data that must be provided voluntarily. No contract can be concluded without the mandatory data. We collect your year of birth to ensure that you are of age, or to make any arrangements if you are under age. For special courses, the date of birth may be mandatory.

We request your landline or mobile phone number in the legitimate interest of being able to contact you immediately in the event of changes to the event. If you do not provide us with this information, we may not be able to contact you in time. The other voluntary data will also be used for the execution of the contract.

After the end of the booked event, we will inform you twice a year about new events at the Akademiezentrum Sankelmark with our half-yearly programme. We will also send you event programmes that may be of interest to you. Your data is blocked for further use.

All data provided by you will be stored electronically. The resulting databases and applications may be maintained by IT service providers commissioned by us. Failure to provide voluntary data will have no effect.

INFORMATION BY MAIL

You can give us permission to use your e-mail address to send you advertising information about our services. Without consent, we will not use your e-mail address for this purpose. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. You can inform us of your revocation via any communication channel (e.g. letter, e-mail).

CONTACT FORM

When using our contact form, which can be accessed via the link “http://www.eash.de/kontakt/anmeldung/”, you will be asked to provide information. The data fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory and are used to process your request. Depending on your position as an interested party or course participant, this serves the purpose of carrying out pre-contractual measures or executing the contract. The remaining information is voluntary.

You will not receive a reply from us if you do not provide the mandatory information. Failure to provide voluntary information will have no consequences.

LEGAL AND CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS TO PROVIDE DATA

The provision of your data to us and the use of our contact form is neither contractually nor legally required.

STORAGE AND DELETION OF DATA

After the contract has been processed, your data will be deleted unless there are legal obligations to retain it. In this case, this data will be kept for up to 10 years. Your data will be blocked for any other use except, if applicable, for permissible information on further Academy events. Bank data provided will be deleted after revocation of the direct debit mandate, successful payment of the course fee or, in the case of standing direct debit mandates, 36 months after the last use.

The data you provide when using our contact form will be deleted as soon as the communication has ended or your request has been completely clarified and this data has not been collected for contractual purposes at the same time. Communication regarding legal claims will be stored until the end of the limitation period.

PASSING ON YOUR DATA

We will only pass on your data to third parties if we are entitled or obliged to do so under applicable law. The same applies if we receive your data from third parties.

If you are in arrears with a payment, we reserve the right to forward your data (name, address, year of birth) to a collection service provider in order to enforce the claim as a legitimate interest.

DATA SECURITY

We take all necessary technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from loss and misuse. For example, your data is stored in a secure operating environment that is not accessible to the public.

When you register for a course, your personal data is transmitted in encrypted form. In particular, we use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology for this purpose. You should always treat your access information confidentially and close the browser window when you have finished communicating with us, especially if you share your terminal device with others. Please bear in mind that while we strive to create a secure and reliable website for users, third party access cannot be 100% ruled out.

Please note that complete confidentiality and data security cannot be guaranteed when communicating by e-mail. We therefore recommend sending confidential information by post.

YOUR RIGHTS (INFORMATION, CORRECTION, BLOCKING, DELETION, OBJECTION, TRANSFER, COMPLAINT)

You have the right to obtain information free of charge at any time about what data we have stored about you and the purpose for which it is stored. Furthermore, you can object to the data processing and have your data transferred by us to someone else. Furthermore, you are entitled to have incorrect data corrected and data blocked or deleted if the storage is inadmissible or no longer necessary. You also have the right to revoke any consent you have given with effect for the future. You can address your respective request to us by using the contact data mentioned in section 1.

In addition to the aforementioned rights, you also have the fundamental right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. For Schleswig-Holstein this is:
