Everything remains different
<\/span><\/h2>\n

At the turn of the millennium, life seemed secure and comfortable for the generations. However, the rapid changes of recent years have fueled concerns that this will not remain the case. With climate change, artificial intelligence,\n and wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, not to mention an aging society, what lies ahead? <\/p>\n

Things we once took for granted are disappearing in the blink of an eye. Political leaders are trying to keep up. Populists are promoting a slowdown and attempting to normalize devaluation and exclusion. Individuals are expected to\n make decisions and find their own way. The overwhelming demands manifest as exhaustion, mistrust, bitterness, aggression, isolation, and the inability to have an objective debate. Social cohesion and democratic structures are losing\n their foundation. <\/p>\n

These changes challenge counseling, pastoral care, therapy, and theology. What content and methods are needed, and what approaches to language and action can these fields offer? What potential can they unleash? <\/p>\n

The 53rd Northern European Conference is aimed at psychotherapists, counselors, pastoral psychologists, and supervisors and advisors. With specialist presentations by experts in sociology, theology and art from Germany and Denmark,\n as well as working groups, it offers inspiration for your own professional practice. <\/p>\n

The conference languages are German and English.<\/p>\n
